A basic and functional stay, but nothing particularly special. The rooms were clean and the location was decent, but overall the experience was quite average. Fine for a short stay if you just need a place to sleep, but don’t expect anything memorable. Overall it's ok

I would say just a simple hotel with the most bare minimum ever. The room is not sound protected. So, you could hear most of the things the things from your neighbors, even the coin drops or pipeline.

离市中心很方便
类似我们国内的民宿，比较有特色
乾净，整洁，无异味，还是挺不错的
大床房也很大，格局也比较合理，空间也还可以
鉴别也很方便，早餐是现做的

Avoid The Ex Capital Hotel – Misleading Advertising & Terrible Service
I wish I could give zero stars. My stay at The Ex Capital Hotel was beyond disappointing. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this hotel thrives on false advertising and horrible customer service.
First and foremost, they advertise a swimming pool that DOES NOT EXIST—and it’s not a recent issue. People have been complaining about this for over nine months, yet they continue to mislead guests. This is outright deception, and the hotel refuses to take accountability.
The front desk staff were some of the worst I’ve ever encountered—unprofessional, unhelpful, and completely lacking basic communication skills. Any question or request was met with confusion, dismissiveness, or outright false information. It was frustrating beyond belief.
From start to finish, my experience was a mess of bad communication, poor service, and blatant dishonesty. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I will never be staying here again. There are far better options in Bangkok—do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.

There’s a reason why this hotel deserves this price point- guess you pay for what you get:
- shower room does not have any soap rack so you put your items on the floor when you shower
- lack of facial tissue in the room
- we stayed for 3 days but they didn’t even bother to put an extra roll of tissue in the room
- phone doesn’t work so don’t expect there’s any room service
- the walls are super thin so you’ll be woken up a million times every morning when other people enter or leave their room
- they don’t come in and tidy the room during the 3 days we stayed there
- not a very suitcase friendly location if you are arriving via the BTS

So I will be honest with you, this hotel is really good for the price and it’s really convenient for people who are looking to visit ICONSIAM, but people who will be going to the city and asok might have difficulty cause it’s a bit far.
The hotel is clean and the room are spacious and fine.
Yet I had a bad experience when entering the hotel, i called them twice and informed them whether I can check in early at 3AM, they agreed but said I have to pay 500bhat for it, I agreed and I asked my Thai gf to call them the day after just to double check if they didn’t understand my English properly, they said yes for sure.
When i came I wasn’t able to check in at that time cause they didn’t inform one another. It was along flight honestly and I needed some sleep, in the end they let me check in around 5:30AM.

The room was very modern and classy. Didn‘t really have a nice view but i was comfortable! The staff helped me out, tho I still felt like I shouldn‘t interact too much.
Breakfast was okay, thai tea was great!
