Great service!! They even assisted me with making reservations for two local Michelin restaurants weeks before I even arrived! I was able to communicate with them via the Trip app. I was also able to communicate with them via WeChat as well (a must use app when in China).
The staff are helpful and polite. They upgraded our room as well! The heating was so warm and toasty in the cold end of November weather. Every time we returned to the hotel we were greeted with a warm room. Since the room was so warm our wet laundered clothes dried overnight. For example, when I did the laundry at midnight and hung them up on the rack, the clothes would be dried by 8am in the morning. The shower actually had very hot water!
The hotel let us store our luggage with them for a few hours after check out which was kind of them. I would suggest providing a few more water bottles to guests each day as the bottles were small and not enough for two adults for their daily water intake.
The neighbourhood is very charming, quietly placed in a hutong (traditional alleyway) but not too far from the main road. There are a few cafe and bars next door. On the mainstreet are lots of food options and there seems to be a trendy retail and dining precinct nearby called Longfu. The Dongsi metro station is also very close by and an easy flat stroll to the hotel. If you have heavy luggage, I recommend using the F exit, but there are a few steps along the way where you will need to lift your luggage. It is definitely not the most luggage or wheelchair friendly station. Thank you to the hotel and the city of Beijing!

Dongsi 78 was great, perfect location for us, great little street, Eddy and the team were lovely and the apartments were really lovely.

Overall, the stay was fine, but I don’t think it was really worth the price.
The apartment itself was good — spacious, clean, and exactly as shown in the photos. The location was also decent.
What I didn’t like:
1. Breakfasts were quite weak. They offered four options, and we tried them all — none were really good. For example, the sandwich was made with very poor-quality bread. The only thing we truly enjoyed were the fruits — not a lot of them, but always fresh and delicious.
To be fair, the staff were kind and tried to help — for instance, one day I asked for a takeaway breakfast box, and although they said they normally don’t offer that, they still prepared one for me. We also asked for tea with breakfast (not included), and they made it for us. So the service was nice, but overall, the breakfast itself was disappointing.
2. The room was very cold. The floor was freezing, and the air conditioner didn’t work for heating. When I asked the staff, they said there was nothing they could do and that they didn’t have any heaters available. I found that quite strange — considering some reviews had already mentioned the same issue, it would make sense for the hotel to simply buy a few small heaters.
3. The shower door was installed incorrectly, leaving a large gap that let water leak out onto the bathroom floor every time we used it. The floor was constantly wet, and my wife even slipped once (fortunately without injury).
4. One of the power outlets might have damaged my charger. It was new and worked fine before, but after plugging it in the living room, it stopped working. The staff checked the outlets and said everything was fine. I can’t be 100% sure it was the hotel’s fault, so I’ll just mention it as a note.
Overall, nice apartment and friendly staff, but for the price, I expected a bit more comfort — especially better heating and breakfast.
All of these issues are quite small and easy to fix, and if they were addressed, I’d definitely say the hotel is worth the price.

房间衞生非常好，唯一的遗憾就是衞生间的淋浴房洗完澡后，外面的地面都是水，可能是淋浴房的门闭合不好吧，希望下次不会再有同样的状况。

1.説实话，出门前还挺忐忑的，毕竟平时都是住的酒店居多。一到房间，小朋友和队友都充分肯定住宿环境，我想着，这回稳了。
2.服务也不错，管家会主动帮忙提东西，最后一天来不及，还提早了一天准备了早餐。
3.早餐分中餐和西餐，也很受孩子们的欢迎。如果时间能提早到6点半左右开餐就更棒了。
4.提点小建议：一是希望能把微波炉和过滤水器的使用方式做成卡片放在一旁，不然临时要用确实略有不便。二是楼上的路有点绕，希望能有个指示牌。当然，我本人还是记住了没迷路的。

饭店位在传统胡同内，周遭多是民居，晚上安静好眠。走一会就出了胡同口到马路边，打车很方便。地铁站也很近。周遭生活机能便利，有餐厅也有买蔬果的地方。接待人员亲切招呼，令人有宾至如归之感。之后到北京，还会想再入住于此。

Not the best experience. The hotel has potential, but the check in was veeery meticulously done (checking every country I have visited in my passport and taking picture of each of them). It was so annoying, particularly since it was 3 am! The room was then stinky a particularly because of the humidity in the room. Also the room was not so nice. However, the next day breakfast was great and the staff at the bar was very nice.

It really felt like a boutique hotel. Clean and nicely decorated. I thought the room was a little small but I didn’t mind since I was traveling alone. The water also seems to spill over to the main room when showering.
