The location is very central and walking distance from the Beijing train station and 30min from the airport.
Depends where the room is it can get noisy with the trains.
The room itself was not nice at all and is dated especially the bathroom which flushing was not working. It was actually the worst room we had during our stay in China.
Merits go to the breakfast which quality is quite good.

Our stay in Beijing was truly a 5-star experience for the three of us, even with a language barrier. From check-in onward, the staff went out of their way to help—using translation apps, hand gestures, and constant warm smiles. Communication was never an issue because the hospitality felt sincere and thoughtful.
One highlight we all loved was the free laundry service. After long days of walking and sightseeing, having clean clothes without extra cost felt like a real luxury and made our trip so much easier. We were also pleasantly surprised by the free snacks, always available and perfect for late nights or quick bites before heading out.
Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained—ideal for resting after busy days exploring Beijing. Overall, it was a generous, caring stay that exceeded expectations. We may not have spoken the same language, but the service spoke volumes. Highly recommended.

Excellent service, family room (comprised of 2 rooms side by side) is very clean and functional, location is near Beijing station within walking distance. My family wants to come stay in this hotel again when we return to Beijing.
Free self laundry services where the staff helped to dry our clothes and pack into bags. Late night supper of fried rice and porridge. Peking duck at the hotel restaurant is extremely delicious. Picture below shows half a duck as the chef was still cutting the other half. Would like to specially thank Alan who helped us to reserve the Peking duck for 2 nights and stayed back after his working hours on the second night to heat up wraps for us. We ordered the duck through WeChat to the restaurant and he helped us with the orders. As it was my child birthday on the first night, special thanks to the chef who also prepared a bowl of noodles with egg for her. Really appreciate the excellent service!
Our rooms are on second floors and staff helped us to carry lugguage to and from the rooms.
Excellent service! My family rates the hotel 10 out of 10!

This hotel boasts an excellent location in close proximity to both the subway and train station. The reception staff were notably professional, friendly, and accommodating, ensuring all our needs were met with efficiency. While the hotel is conveniently situated, guests should be aware that it is accessed via a narrow alleyway. Consequently, ride-share or taxi drivers may occasionally choose to drop passengers at the main road or the nearest intersection rather than the front entrance. A thoughtful touch was the complimentary coffee provided at reception, which added great value to our experience.

Hotel located at strategic location with railway and subway station nearby. Convenient store and restaurant are within walking distance too.
Hotel is without lift but staff are helpful to carry the luggges to the room. Special shoutout to the staff name Sandy for kind assistance.
Delicious supper are provided but wish the time will be longer.

We had a great stay here. It's unique with history, the breakfast is the best we had in 6 weeks of travel in China and it has its own restaurant which is good too.

房间温暖如春乾净整洁，是斯诺故居旅游景点。有很多外国友人入住。早餐开始很早，六点半就有好多人在餐厅吃饭了。

酒店在北京站边上衚衕里，原来是斯诺夫妇租住北京的原址。走路到地铁口很近。停车不太方便，前台服务员很热情。性价比高。

This was the first place we stayed on a 60 day trip around China and boy were we spoilt! The breakfast was so amazing in terms of variety that it really ruined every other hotel breakfast we had afterwards ??the location was like 15 min walk from a subway to get to the main attractions and the laundry was good! Small cat lived there too!
