Nice inn, well decorated rooms inside the lovely Gubei Water town. In the centre of the village so easy access to all areas. Good-size room that can sleep 3-4 adults (family room), good beds, nice bathroom
Check-in service at the inn was wonderful and we could leave our bags for a few hours after check-out, but during breakfast the staff was incredibly rude. The breakfast needs to be ordered the day before and there was not much explanation about the amount needed for 4 people (room booking included breakfast for 4 people). If they had thought that we ordered too much, it would have been good to discuss this with us, but nothing was said. The next morning we were told off that we were late (we were not), and that we did not eat all the food (one of us did not feel well and did not eat much, the other did not like the dumplings, so we left one bowl). We were not served at least 3 other dishes we had ordered and were ignored when asking about it. The amount of coffee served per cup was less than an espresso (and not strong) so when my friends asked for more we were again told off that we were drinking too much. Unacceptable in any hospitality situation, but particularly for the price of a night stay at the town.
Our problems with the breakfast staff had nothing to do with our lack of Chinese, one of my friends is Chinese, another one can make herself understood well. It would possibly have been better to not understand them as we left with a very strange feeling about the whole stay.
Pity cause I enjoyed the rest of it.

房间比较宽敞，最满意的是房间里没有烟味，带孩子可以放心住。特别赞房间里1米8的窗，床垫软硬适中，不像有的酒店的床垫软塌塌的，一个人翻身能把另一个人吵醒，睡一夜起来腰疼。遗憾的是我的房间在三层，看出去只有房檐和墙壁，基本没风景，但挺安静的。另外早餐只能说是说的过去，最好早点去吃，我们按约好的时间去吃，牛奶已经没了。老板娘心细，认真，热心。

很好的内部设计，四个人住不错。窗外就能看到古镇风景和长城，位于古镇中心位置。就是服务意识真不咋地，点菜价格实惠味道不错。服务员老是一副你欠她似的，年轻那两位还不错的
