This is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life. Spending about close to $70 sgd per night, yet they can't even ensure proper cleaniness. I stayed in the business 2 bed room.
Reasons why I DO NOT recommend this hotel:
1) Cleaniness. This hotel has the absolute worst cleaniness ever. There is a narrow walkway between the 2 beds, and that area was never cleaned before. Hotel said that I did not feedback to them early enough, but isn't that your job to ensure basic cleaniness in the room? You are blaming the customer for not telling you that it is not clean? This attitude is also absolutely disgusting.
2) Location. You actually can't see from the pictures they shared that they have a very big construction site beside them, and it gets very nosiy early in the morning, sometimes about 8pm at the night, you can still hear heavy machineries still operating. Hotel does not know how to isolate for the noise, and same thing, if you never say, they take it as they don't know, and won't care.
3) Attitude and responsiveness. For this, I would say there is 2 opinions. When something happens, they are very efficient and will act upon it, which is something basic I expect from a hotel. However, as a person that does not like to speak upfront and prefers messaging, their wechat is almost irresponsive. When you text them for something or for feedback, they rarely reply, and say that they do not look at the wechat often. So for what do you have a wechat account when you don't use it to chat and respond to your customers? There is like 4 of them by minimum at the front desk in the morning, so I don't see a reason for why they say that they are busy or what reasons they give to not look at the messages. To add on, when heading out with my mother, my mother did not wear long sleeves and long pants as she thought that the weather was not that cold. Not sure whether was it sarcastically, the staff there laugh there.
4) Ethics. This is a very disappointing part from this hotel. I forgot that I have booked 6 days, hence on the day I was returning back to my country, I decided to extend 8 hours, by paying 200 yuan. But guess what, they told me that my room was booked by someone else, and that I have to clear the room for them. Forgetting that I have booked 6 days, I listened, and I went to another room which they claimed to be of equal size, which was not. It was probably the smallest room that had, which was like 29m2, when my original room was 36m2. After I returned to my country, I checked that I have actually booked for 6 days, so on that day I returned to my country, it was actually still booked by me. So who was the person that the hotel staff claimed was booked by? This is definitely the most disgusting part of this hotel.
The good parts:
1) Help to move parcels up to my room. Knowing that I will be arriving late and the quantity of the parcel is huge, I requested for the staff to help me shift the parcel up, such that when I reached the hotel, I can just start opening it. This is a good part of this hotel, because I am pretty sure other hotels may not even do it, even if customer request.
2) High effiiciency in solving customer complains. Room was not clean and there was also some other issues, which I wanted to make a complain. Surprisingly, they gave me a response pretty quickly, and i would describe their decision as swift and merciless.
I have stayed in other JI Hotels before, I thought it was fairly decent until I stayed in this. With the same budget, people can go for atour instead. I will definitely recommend the Atour that is maybe about 100-200m away, that provides way better service satisfaction overall compared to this hotel. It is a big NO to staying at this hotel.
