Hotel reception is friendly.Room is spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast offer lot of variety. Do not have much time to enjoy the hotel facilities. Supposed to reach hotel by about 6pm by high speed train. Ticket fully sold out. End up have to travel from Beijing to home by taxi. Took almost 5 hrs to reach due to heavy rain.

New hotel, with spotless facilities and friendly staff. It's very close to the Chengde South Station, which is handy for high speed trains - though is a bus ride or taxi ride away from downtown Chengde and the Mountain Resort area. (Bus 29 takes you down there, but takes a while). Breakfast was good, and there are snacks in reception wheel you come back. The restaurant is only open in the morning - no bar/other facilities, but there are places to eat/shop nearby, though the area feels very new and developing. It was a great choice for me as I came in and out of Chengde South Station and I used the hotel as my base.

The room not up to the 4 star hotel cleanliness . The room have strong smoke smell although I request smoke free room . Anyway , there is a nice service helpdesk Ping who help me solve the smell on the 2nd night .

Hampton by Hilton Chengde is a highly recommended for stay in Chengde, very clean, comfortable, good services n excellent breakfast with continental n local dishes.

Great location just almost across Chengde South railway station. Quiet location as most buildings in front of the station are newly built and are not yet fully occupied. Diagonally across the street are small local eateries. And just beyond those eateries, you can take the local bus no.29 all the way to the final stop(火神庙）and walk to 避暑山庄.

Very clean, facility is good we had free laundry service. Hotel breakfast is delicious, quite new, hospitality ????????????
