We had a wonderful stay! Staff was very friendly and attentive. They kindly contacted us after check out to inform us we left our phone charger in the room and offered to bail it to us!! We stayed at suite with a courtyard view. We plan to return next summer to enjoy the beautiful grounds. ?Very nice bath products.

A must-stay if you do visit in Chengde... Place is ancient and gorgeous... There are deers in the resort as well... People are warm and wonderful and will cater to your needs.. Highly recommended... It was quiet during December time, I have the whole courtyard to myself... Thank you QiWangLou... I will come back again...

酒店位置特别好，是距离避暑山庄最近的酒店。走路去就可以。酒店环境安静幽雅，和避暑山庄成为一体，是古色古香皇家园林风格。内部设施完善，品质优良。房间够大衞生很好。特别是酒店的工作人员，服务周到，特别好。住了几十年的酒店，这次是让我感觉完全不同。素质高，而且又很亲切。很多五星级酒店服务很好，但亲切感却没有。一位姓罗的美女工作人员热心帮我们拍全家福，帮我们选位置和角度，特别有耐心而且拍的非常好??特别感谢她。前台、门衞和餐厅的人员都非常好。这家旅行给我们全家留下特别美好难忘记忆。再一次感谢??你们。来承德必住这家酒店。

这个酒店的环境不必多説了。我想説工作人员都太好了，接触到的前台小妹妹到客服打扫的工作人员，保安大哥，甚至送枕头的妹妹都特别真诚。
今天因为续订和早餐的问题去前台询问，小妹妹非常专业，快速的给我提供了方案，条理清晰，我很快就明白了。打扫衞生的姐姐每天都会把屋里收拾的很乾净，早上出门碰到了还会让我多穿点，晚上回来躺在乾净的床铺上就很安心。
虽然是淡季来，安安静静的非常棒。北京到这里也很近，下次还会再来。真是一家不错的酒店。

An attractive hotel in a former imperial complex (a library or something like that) offering large, clean rooms. It's up on the side of a hill but taxis/rideshare will take you to the front door. Also it's very close to the town center and is a short ride to the temples that are of interest in Chengde.
They have a decent breakfast at the onsite restaurant, and a dinner service featuring local dishes that are supposed to be similar to what an emperor might have eaten. So you can dine like an emperor, for a fee. The large deer roaming the grounds stare at your with the big, sad eyes, obviously looking for a handout, but don't fall for it as there's plenty of grass.
There was some construction going on, seems the buildings are being refurbished, but it did not really interfere with our stay. Signs in English and English-speaking staff at the front desk.

Hotel is up on a hill, so need to walk steep upslope every time we walk back to hotel after exploring surrounding areas to shop, see attractions.
If taking didi/taxi, pls inform the driver to drive up even if they see the barricade. The barricade will auto-lift up to allow cars in.
Rooms are clean. Service is superb.
Highly recommend the tour guide at the hotel.
Highly recommend the restaurant at the hotel.
Cute deers and friendly cats within the hotel compound that roam freely.

?环境不错，古香古色的，是我喜欢的调调。
院里养了几只梅花鹿，早晨可以被鹿鸣声叫醒起床。
?衞生间用的是科勒品牌，比较赞赏。
?地理位置也好，就在避暑山庄的一角，所以可以把车停在酒店这里不动，步行去避暑山庄游览。
?早餐也挺丰富的。
?不过正赶上国庆长假，所以房价上涨，建议错开放假高峯订房。

来承德一定要住琦望楼，它是避暑山庄36景中的第六景，曾是乾隆皇帝的书房和避暑山庄的组成部分，坦坦荡荡门为康熙爷手书，庭中的这棵古松也是康熙帝亲手所种，躺在床上就能看见园中随处走动的梅花鹿，最惊喜的是早餐后园中散步遇见了御猫“八条”，很亲人，撸个爽[调皮]
环境，设施老了些，但乾净
服务：国宾馆实至名归，服务特别好，希望早餐品质再多些
下次来承德会继续入住，还带家人，赞

绮望楼宾馆位置靠离避暑山庄丽正门很近，十分方便，宾馆不大，但古朴典雅，很是精致，内部有古树有假山，还能看见梅花鹿，院内也非常清静，住在这里，彷佛有穿越到康乾盛世的感觉，很有体验感，不过我们是趁淡季来捡漏，旺季价格要贵得多。
