We stayed for two nights. Everything else was great, but the towels were not changed, which felt unhygienic.

The location was ok ish. it’s like 10 mjns from waverly train station. The rooms and amenities were good.

As a location, I think this is a very nice hotel to stay in; however, for a 5-star hotel, I expected a much higher level of service.?
We were disappointed by several issues during our stay. First, housekeeping knocked on our door around 8 a.m., waking us up to ask if we needed cleaning. We requested the service, but when we returned to our room around 3 p.m., it had not been cleaned. Even after we went out to dinner and returned later that evening, the room was still not cleaned.
Additionally, while my friend and I were resting in the room, the door had not been closed properly and was slightly open. A hotel staff then opened the door without knocking, which made us feel very uncomfortable.
Another issue occurred when my friend ordered food via Deliveroo. The order was marked as delivered, but we could not find it. We asked the lobby ambassador for assistance, but she was not helpful at all. We eventually found the order ourselves, placed on the concierge desk.
Overall, the service from the staff was very disappointing and felt cold and unwelcoming. While I would recommend the hotel for its location, the level of service was far below what I would expect from a 5-star hotel.

入住的当天是生日。 连住了三晚。
check-in的那位先生AF**帮我升级了一下房间。还送来了生日香槟??以及朱古力??。真的10分的开心??。thank you so much
次日在酒店用了早餐品种丰富味道出品很好。
夏天再去爱丁堡也会继续选择这家。

We stayed for 2 nights over Christmas and it was absolutely perfect. The hotel was luxurious and tastlefully decorated for the festive season. I can not praise the staff enough, we were felt extremely welcome and they couldnt do enough for us. Interactions were comfortable, relaxed and professional. The hotel is perfectly situated within confortable walking distance to Edinburgh castle and other attractions and restaurants and shops also near. I highly recommend staying here and i look forward to returning.

这次的爱丁堡之行正好选在了旅游旺季圣诞节期间，从伦敦坐火车到达时已经是傍晚，前台的工作人员特别热情友善，居然给我们升级到了大套房。推开房间门就在宽敞气派的大客厅壁炉旁惊喜的看到了闪烁着五彩缤纷光芒的圣诞树，孩子们都特别开心。
酒店是乔冶王朝风格融合古典石柱与雕花穹顶，宫殿式的建筑风格，很有贵族气质，地理位置优越，离韦弗利火车站和王子街步行几分钟，房间里的床品非常精致舒适，酒店的早餐也丰盛美味，早餐还可以单独点餐。 十分感谢爱丁堡洲际酒店给我们的2025年英国圣诞节之旅送上了一份快乐与惊喜，以后去爱丁堡会继续住洲际。
