Excellent location (just 20 minutes by boat from Velana MLE airport), friendly staff, great service. My family really enjoyed being there. It is suitable for couples, families, solo and group travelers.

We celebrated our babymoon at Taj Exotica in the Maldives and had an amazing time. We went in the off-peak season, so there were very few people. The hospitality was outstanding—everyone cared deeply and paid utmost attention to detail to ensure we were comfortable. From a customized bubble bath for relaxation to a special cake and curated food tailored to our dietary preferences, everything was thoughtfully arranged. The staff was wonderful and always went out of their way to make our stay special. Special shoutout to Ekta and Shah Jhahan, our primary restaurant hosts and servers. In fact, the chef even made a special dark chocolate dessert upon my request. The front desk staff, especially Ahmed, was warm and friendly, and his advice on navigating the resort was very helpful. Lastly, a big thank-you to our host, Alif, who ensured all our needs were taken care of. From curated shark snorkeling (with Meredith, our patient and reassuring instructor) to a sunset cruise and even a personal babymoon photoshoot, every detail was beautifully planned. My only request is that the resort consider offering prenatal massages as well. Also, a small tip: carry essentials like beach footwear and sunscreen from your home country, as they are quite expensive to purchase at the resort. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would truly love to visit again.

Great property near the airport, just 15 minutes by speed boat. Property is a bit aged, needs updating, but Staff are great, spa, amazing.

Great staff all very friendly and helpful. The surrounding waters were amazing. The property itself could use some upkeep, the stay did not feel as if we were in a luxury hotel. Food option was very limited and the quality of the food was not good.

Lovely Island, Staff and Food
Such a beautiful island and in keeping with traditional Maldivian style as opposed to the built up louder resorts that are now poppint up in the Maldives.
The food was great we did not have one bad meal. The staff are what make this place though they all try their absolute best to assist you with whatever your needs.

The staff was very helpful. They assigned a butler to us who took care of every day activities booking.. getting food orders and so much more. Me and my wife had a amazing time

Stunning and convenient location just 20mina boat ride from Male airport - amazing staff who couldn’t do enough to make you comfortable and happy.
Amazing food with chef Rajesh spoiling us with different cuisines daily .
Loved the opportunity to cook with chef Jayant who taught us how to make paneer kofta saag - ummm!!
Property could do with some updating given the immense competition but the stunning lagoon stays with you forever !!
