Wonderful Service, Still Room for Growth
We recently stayed at this hotel and were very satisifed by the level of service — easily a 5/5. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly with genuine hospitality and even served us a lovely welcome tea. Their attentiveness and passion really stood out.
Throughout our stay, we also had quite a few food and parcel deliveries, and the staff remained incredibly patient and accommodating despite our overwhelming number of orders. Their helpfulness and friendly attitude never wavered — a true testament to their excellent service standards.
That said, as the hotel is still quite new, there were some hiccups. One issue we encountered was the shower water being scalding hot despite being turned to the coldest setting — possibly due to ongoing renovation works. However, the staff acted swiftly and professionally: they provided ointment, offered to send us to the hospital, sent a plate of fresh fruits with a heartfelt apology, and even upgraded our room. Their response was prompt and sincere.
Cleanliness is another area that could use some improvement. While it wasn't a major issue, we did notice some dust and minor oversights, which could be due to the renovation works still happening in parts of the hotel. We hope this improves as the hotel becomes more established.
My only pet peeve was that smoking was allowed in the hotel lobby — something that may still be common in China but worth noting for non-smokers.
As for location, it’s fairly convenient if you’re staying in the Panyu district. The nearest mall is about a 10-minute Didi ride away, while central areas like Tianhe are around 30 minutes by car — but cab fares are quite affordable.
Breakfast was decent, and the chefs were friendly and welcoming. They have a cute donut board display.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay with exceptional service.
