I recently stayed at Hotel Indigo Hakone and had a mixed but overall pleasant experience. The location is very good and convenient, with a 7-Eleven right across the street, which makes it easy to grab snacks and essentials anytime.
The hotel kindly provided a birthday room upgrade, which I really appreciated — a thoughtful touch that made the stay feel special. The private onsen facilities were excellent and definitely the highlight of the stay — clean, relaxing, and well maintained.
However, the upgraded room had a downside: the view was not great and there was limited privacy since it directly faced the 7-Eleven, making it easy for people outside to see into the room unless the curtains were closed.
Overall, great service and wonderful onsen experience, but room privacy and view can vary — something to keep in mind when booking.

Excellent experience! Good place for holiday, the room is very nice and neat. The staffs are super friendly and helpful. The dinner is the best meal ever! Highly recommended!

Our stay at the hotel was overall excellent, and we would still highly recommend it, especially for couples looking for a pleasant getaway.
Almost everything was perfect—the room was clean and comfortable, the facilities were great, and every other staff member we encountered was polite and helpful. It’s truly a lovely place to spend time together.
However, our check-in experience was noticeably unpleasant due to one staff member. She came across as unwelcoming and impatient, almost as if we were bothering her. She rushed through the process and felt quite pushy, especially when repeatedly questioning which language we preferred—even though we tried communicating in both Japanese and English. Her attitude made us feel uncomfortable and somewhat unwanted at first.
Aside from this one incident, everything else was wonderful. We hope the hotel addresses such front-desk service issues so that future guests can enjoy a consistently welcoming experience from start to finish.

五星级酒店，服务非常好，到附近嘅强罗站有私家车接送，食物非常吸引，价钱合理，房间私人风吕，非常舒服。自家制嘅面膜非常好用，推介

酒店设施尚算新，每一间房都有独立温泉，但check in人数实在太多，时间上等得比较久，不过房间景色优美，尚算值回票价

晚上10点后才去到酒店，服务员很有礼貌地欢迎及帮手check-in。可能夜到，泊车位也差不多泊满。但我开门见到房间这么舒适，个人也放松及开心哂。

房间空间足够，阳台自带温泉浴缸。但是阳台外面就是大马路，必须拉上卷帘，跟预订照片感觉有説出入。入住的时候很感谢前台的yejung小姐，来之前在雕刻公园被蜜蜂蛰了，她给我了我一瓶药水很管用。退房时説我在mini吧使用了小吃，但是并没有。也没时间和他们较真。

到达强罗站可联络酒店安排接送，服务细心，可是只到6pm，要预先好好安排行程。由酒店步行过桥可到对面的便利店，还有一间寿司店，非常方便。房屋宽敞舒适，设备齐全，睡得很好。

酒店房间大而舒适，可是不必特意选择河景，小河没甚么特别。Google map上显示可行13分钟到强罗站，其实是非常陡峭的上山路，建议向酒店询问到强罗的车较方便，1000-1800都可询问。大众浴池是混池需要穿泳衣。
