Super love the facilities in Renaissance Hotel. Firstly the room is wide and big, the bed is comfy and the toilet is clean. My son particularly love the big bath tub. Not to mention the mini waterpark and outdoor playground at level 4. You can literally just stay in the hotel because there’s so much things to do ! Also, must give a thumb up for their biggest breakfast, the provide wide spread of variety and most of the foods were delicious . Definitely will come back for more

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making us feel at home. The room was comfortable and well maintained. Would definitely consider staying again.

i was very disappointed with the cleanliness and got rashes all over body! i couldn’t expect the dirtiness comes from the 5 star hotel like Renaissance and please upgrade your customer service skills on handling case

This is my first time really disappointed towards Marriott Renaissance hotel brand. I really wanted to give positive feedback but I just couldn’t this time.
I checked in midnight after 17.5 long haul flight. I was being told that my booked king size room was full. The hotel reception can only offer me twin bedroom with breakfast instead. With business meeting starts 09:00am, I had to accept this and I simply just wanted to shower and rest on the bed soon. So check in experience was bad due to not able to stay at the booked room type and felt bad that the twin-bedroom was the only option offered to me.
As my hotel staying purpose was just for my business trip, I talked to myself that I just needed to get on with it.
However, I was caught by surprise for the “sound pollution”.
Despite located on the floor 21, the street sounds (motorbikes and scooters’s engine exhaust and beeping sounds) were constant because the room window’s sound proof function is close to nothing.
And the wall between the rooms is thin. Next door family suit’s child’s unsettling sounds added noises onto the night sleeps. I felt bad for the family suit’s parents as I suspected the street noises woke their child’s night time sleep.
The hotel room provided ear plugs. However, it really doesn’t stop the noises. The noise pollution level was bad.
My past experience with Marriott & Renaissance hotel branches experiences and my own personal expectations are
(1) if room was over booked and the hotel was aware that guest was staying for business trip purpose, the hotel will provide upgrade or other hotel services (reduced cost together with other offering) and ensuring the room is at the quieter side.
(2) if the hotel is right next to busy road, the hotel will ensure Window’s soundproof function.
However, it was not the case for this Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel.
Sadly, it was negative for my staying experience. And hopefully, the hotel could improve the sound pollution situation from building facilities perspectives in the near future instead of a pair of ear plugs.
