Good:
1. Located near the Haigeng Dam and the Xishan Cable Car.
2. Service staff was excellent. We arrived late in the evening and they were really accommodating despite the late hour.
3. Room was relatively clean and the hot water showers worked though we couldn't figure out how to change the temperature of the showers.
Not so good:
1. The room was not ready even though we arrived very late but the service staff was really apologetic and turned it around very fast despite the late hour.
2. The smart home system was not so smart after all. The light switch was faulty and the smart home system did not work. We had an unpleasant night, sleeping with the lights on because the alternative was to sleep without heating during winter (no go). Staff was again really apologetic.
3. Room was a little cramped because it came with a balcony - take note if you choose this room.

Unfortunately we didn’t end up staying at this hotel…
Many things were not working out;
1. We had a lot of trouble finding the hotel as it apparently is located within a gated community.
2. You cannot bring your vehicle to the hotel, which considering the hotel offers parking disappointed us.
3. Upon entering the place, it smelled sour and unpleasant.
4. When seeing our room, we noticed it didn’t look very clean on the floors and the bathroom.
5. They spent and hour trying to resolve our parking issues and did not succeed, so we canceled and found a really nice hotel elsewhere.
On the bright side the host did start cleaning the floor after I pointed it out, but told me I should clean the toilet myself lol.

We really loved this small, family run hotel. The service was excellent, and the owner went out of her way to help us with all sorts of things! She went above and beyond what we could expect.
The bed is very comfortable. The location quiet and serene. Free laundry on site. Excellent coffee.
A few people have commented that it is far from food options, but you can eat in the hotel which has a superb restaurant. The food was amazing and we are in both nights. There is also a very plush dining space.
The lake is just 3 minutes away and each evening and morning we enjoyed 10km runs along the waterfront. I will definitely stay here again if and when we return to Kunming.
Final point, the autumnal Gingko trees by our balcony were an added bonus! So picturesque.

一直对携程的星钻等级没有怀疑过，但入住该四钻民宿之后我认为携程对酒店星钻评级的中肯性有待考量。衞生差，洗漱台等地方明显有黄渍，地毯上全是斑斑点点的污渍，房间极其狭小，接待大堂也很拥挤，电梯、大堂本来就拥挤，还摆上销售的产品张贴营销广告，最重要的那间狭小的房间还是一间地下室！在我预先知情的情况下我可以自愿选择住地下室，但是我不接受不知情的情况下预订了过去才晓得那竟然是一间地下室，潮湿无窗空气不流通……商家应该明显标示这间是一间地下室！介意者勿订！民宿所在位置是一个别墅区，我当即在该别墅区去选了另外一家民宿，价格更便宜，乾净整洁房间是之前两倍大，我在携程上看了下，后边更大更乾净设施更好的是三颗钻，衞生差，设施差，拥挤的那个竟然还是四钻！我出行一直信赖携程，是携程十多年用户，希望携程能及时中肯做星钻评级，不要让老用户失望??

这里出门就是滇池，位于一个高档别墅区，环境清幽，远离城市喧嚣，是放松身心的好去处。庭院很多植物，晚上伴着幽静的环境入睡，彷佛回到了儿时的乡村时光。房间布局合理，衞生间乾湿分离，乾净整洁。服务人员态度亲切，让人倍感温暖，床垫非常舒适，床上用品也都是星级酒店的材质，而且他们家的私房菜非常好吃，在客房中休息，做好了，服务员直接叫我们到餐厅用餐，非常方便，每天还赠送好喝的精品咖啡，必须五星好评送上
