Affordable, comfortable option in Shuhe Old Town.
We stayed two nights in July. Without a data connection for your phone, it might be hard to find, like anything in Shuhe Old Town. The owner had mentioned on the phone before our arrival that he would come out to meet guests if they can't find their way.
Gudao Renjia Guest House is located away from the noisy bar street, but everything in Shuhe Old Town is in walking distance. There are a variety of double rooms and family suites, all lightly and tastefully decorated. There is also a rooft top terrace with a few seats for taking in the view. The facilities were clean and hot water worked without issues. The inner courtyards are immaculately maintained by the owner and his wife. We had booked a standard double room (180 RMB a night), but upon check in on the first day, the owner offered to upgrade us to the better furnished double room (normally 280 RMB), which we graciously accepted after comparing the two options. On our second night, the better room wasn't available and we stayed in the standard double room, where we found the bed to be a bit hard by comparison. This is the norm for accommodation in China, so it wasn't a big deal. Everything else was totally fine.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Gudao Renjia Guest House, and would recommend it to any budget minded traveller visiting Shuhe Old Town.

古道人家性价比还是很高的，房子挺大，环境不错，唯一不好的是处于闹市区，不过晚点回来的话还是很安静的

客栈的老板李哥和刘姐非常的好，我在客栈住了四天，全赖他们的帮助，教我怎样去玩，怎能省钱，并且临走的时候李哥和刘姐见我行李那么多，还特意送我去坐车，很感动。以后来云南就认定这一家

不知道说什么好，一听说去玉龙雪山老板极力推荐旅游团，不然订不到大索道票，花了很多钱，很不愉快的一天。

酒店的环境非常的棒，出行方便，出去就是音乐🎵广场，李哥人也特别的好，出行给出各种安全建议，因为第一次到束河古镇下大雨，李哥还打伞🌂去接的，领我去吃了米线打到会员价格，第二天游了香格里拉，李哥还借雨伞和自拍神器给我😊，非常感谢李哥
