Luoyang Friendship Hotel has everything you needed - staff welcomed us like a family, helped us deal with travel pressure or problems when they arise. The location is perfect for us to use the new subway Line 1 as Exit E is literally at the doorstep of the hotel. Ms. ZHAO Yiwei and Ms. Xiaoweiwei handled the reception so well as they greeted with warmth every time we see them. Ms. HAN followed up with a phone call shortly after our stay. Guess what, we simply like the hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The service is great and staff is very friendly. The breakfast is wonderful with a lot of local choices. Though the amenities are bit old, the price made up for it. Location is very convenient with pickup service as well. Recommend to stay.

Rooms were quite big, but a bit old. However, service was very good especially the free transfer to train station or airport. Thank you to all the staff!

Excellent hotel and service. Han Pei Pei was very helpful in arranging private car transportation to the high speed rail and telling us how to get to the National Peony Garden.
The hotel breakfast is an extensive buffet in with 6 differ not kinds of Tea. For fruit they have Dragon fruit, strawberries, Rock Melon among many others.

I absolutely cannot tell you how much I loved this hotel. If you can believe it I think it might have been the highlight of our trip so far. We were picked up at the station by a car, and taken to the hotel. On arrival Feng Yi, the bellboy provided us with warm towels and tea whilst we checked in. We were on the 17th floor, facing the peony plaza. The room was spacious, and with water, tea, fruit and even bags of candies, as a personalised note welcoming us. Then as if it could get any more lovely at night we were provided with yogurt and Li tang before bed. The breakfast was wonderful and diverse.
My only point to note, and this is really something we have noticed on this trip to China, is that very few staff, including the desk staff speak English. Luckily, I was able to communicate through wechat and voice translator.
That said, I speak some Mandarin so that also helped. But the staff we attentive, kind, welcoming, warm and it was thanks to them that we had such a wonderful time in Luoyang.
