The view was nice and the location is convenient , many restaurants nearby but we saw cockroaches inside the room but the workers at the front desk helped up move to a better and cleaner room.

酒店环境很好，有大泳池，还有免费的下午茶和糕点，房间乾净整洁，前台小姐姐热情心细，还提醒我们去海边要多穿衣服。真是太暖心了，还主动给我们升级了海景房，酒店离海的故事很近，下楼几分钟步行就到海边，离城区也是步行几分就到，在房间就可以看到大海和博鳌塔，值得入住的一家酒店！

房间宽敞明亮，窗前可看椰林和海。离海边很近，下午茶和晚茶免费，有游泳池，早餐品种丰富。有免费停车场。

酒店坐落在大片椰林中，大堂宽敞，前台工作人员细心负责，酒店提供的下午茶很有当地特色，房间也乾净，设施齐全，所订的椰林日出大床房，正对大海，可惜所住两日恰遇阴雨天气，没能满足躺在床上看日出的愿望。

房间乾净宽敞，床上被褥舒适，衞生做得很好！！无地毯、所以无霉味，对过敏体质者友好！酒店靠海边，酒店后门出去就是海边公路，紧邻“海的故事”～海边最美歺饮景区。据悉联合国前秘书长也曾来此用歺。即使夜间，还有年轻情侣在海滩上拍婚纱照，向西走，即是万泉河入海处。总之，酒店虽是老四星。外观略显陈旧，但空气清新，衞生好，大堂处还有贴心茶水与免费香蕉。早歺可口，我们傍晚去不远处的潭门小镇渔人码头买了活鲍鱼、野生海虾、老鼠斑（鱼）、带子（贝），带回酒店，歺厅师傅帮助加工，收费合理，比外面小店吃海鲜放心多了！歺厅服务员阿姨服务超好，怕我们另点的蔬菜、汤太多吃不完，还友好地提醒我们。总之，酒店性价比高，又延住二晚！（附图为酒店后门处海边风景）

酒店位置好，就在海边，几分钟就到了。有游泳池，水乾净。早餐还可以，芋头特别粉。服务热情，服务意识好。房间床品优良，有下午茶，配琼海当地杂粮小吃，。大堂有当地饮品，有当地香蕉，好吃。

Good: 3 mins walk to the beach, place with a holiday beach vibe, they have 3 complementary meals per day (breakfast, afternoon tea, night snack), staff is very friendly and helpful.
Can be better: as it's surrounded by trees, there are mosquitos everywhere (seat indoor when having your meals in the hotel dining area), as usual smokers everywhere (nothing hotel can do about too), not sure why but vpn doesn't work for their hotel wifi.

I had hesitated a bit about booking this hotel due to the mixed reviews, but the hotel is fine! Sure, it's somewhat showing its age and not a modern luxury 4-star hotel (but the reasonable room rates also reflect this, so it's fair). They have clearly maintained the hotel pretty well and the room was comfortable. Staff at reception was also very friendly and welcoming. My room had a spacious balcony (although the seaside balconies unfortunately don't get any sun during most of the day, which in winter seemed a pity) and the bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub, which was great. No fridge though, which I would have liked. While I was satisfied with the hotel, I hesitate a bit more about recommending Bo'ao as a place to stay. I wasn't impressed by the beach, which is a relatively narrow strip of sand, disfigured by people racing around on quads. There are some restaurants and cafés but not directly on the beach and mostly closed or empty in winter (I love the beaches where you can have a drink sitting on a beanbag on the beach, which they have on Hainan's south coast, but that kind of places can't be found here). I visited in winter though and the weather was on the cool side these days. It might all look a lot more cheerful in summer! In any case, different tourists like different things and if you'd like to visit Bo'ao, this hotel is a perfectly fine choice!

The hotel has a fantastic location and the staff is great. However it is a bit rusting and outdated. Nevertheless it is good value for money. Pool was closed during our stay which might be due to off-season.
