I can absolutely recommend the stay at Urside Hotel. I was approached with a delicious ice tea as a welcome drink which was a very nice gesture in the hot Shanghai summer. Also, everywhere detailed decoration with beautiful atmosphere made me feel very comfortable during my stay of six nights.
Although the next metro station is roughly ten minutes away by feet, a possibility to grab a Didi was always given. The metro however is very conveniently located taking you to Lujiazui in less than 20 minutes.
The location is nevertheless very beautiful being in a design parc right in the middle of the former Expo place. The Power Station of Art is just two minutes away by feet.
E is also a very nice owner, offering a complimentary beer or coffee a day!
The breakfast was exceptionally good, very nice to look at and even tastier to eat.
Overall, I had a wonderful stay and can 10/10 recommend it.

I loved this hotel. The service was excellent and the bistro seemed popular although I didn't get the chance to try out. The room felt very spacious because of the loft. The amenities were great, including lots of water and 2 cans of soda.
The only drawback is that it is a bit of a walk to the nearest subway, which is hard in Shanghai summer heat.

Liked the interior design, very clean and convenient accommodation. To get to the bed you have to climb the stairs which might be difficult sometimes.

Good loft style hotel. That’s the reason I booked this hotel. Location wise; around 10 minutes walking distance to the subway station. Located at the quiet area.
