这是第二次住这个酒店了，非常推荐。
首先是当天下午到早了，自己定的房间还没收拾好，前台的Jasmine Sun很贴心的给升级了套房，超级赞，房间超大，一间卧室，一间客厅，洗手间超大，电冰箱吹风机大衣柜体重秤应有尽有，住着非常舒服。
其次这个酒店距离南京路步行街核心地段非常近，步行五到十分钟就能到沈大成、第一食品商店、还有很多核心商店。
另外酒店还有免费的行政酒廊待遇（可能是我定的有），第二天早上的早餐也很丰盛，主要也不是特别挤，不像南京路上一些其它的酒店，早餐人挤人。
总之就是非常推荐??

Hotel door service is excellent. Applaud the gentlemen who never fail to greet and open doors as we enter and exit the hotel. Room is a bit warm even though we turned on "aircon" with outside temperature of 10degC - we asked for fan and the service was delivered instantly. Room amenities such as toothbrush and comb and slippers are not replenish daily so you have to call or obtain from recep. Overall I would recommend this place for its location.

超级棒。地理位置绝佳，地铁就在附近，来往非常方便，服务也特别好，还帮忙收快递。从楼上看下去南京路，视野也非常好。

Great location, the hotel is right directly behind the popular miniso at Nanjing road. The hotel was popular among the locals for the hairy crab at the buffet restaurant right in the middle of the main entrance. This whole hotel was covered with the crab & seafood smell.
The staff were busy counting money at the counter upon check-in and kept us waiting for quite a while before attending to us.
The room was spacious but the hotel and amenities looked old. The cleaner provided the best service, she greeted us every morning and she even remembered which room we were staying in. It gave us a warm welcome compared to the counter staff.
Overall still a good place to stay for it's location and spacious room for it's price of a 5 star hotel.

I love Grand Central Hotel. The executive suite is the one I always stay with my family when I go on business trip in Shanghai. It is just across the road from the best 10 miles of walking strip between the Bund and Nanjing Road. You will never be tired of walking this magnificent historical road that carried more than 100 years of modern day Shanghai.

The Grand Central Hotel Shanghai is located next to Nanjing road so it’s very central. The decoration of the hotel looks a bit outdated which lots of golden colors and palm trees in the lobby. Upon my arrival the concierge staff helped to take out my luggage from the car and as we were walking inside he wanted to store my luggage and telling me that check in was at 2pm. I arrived at 12pm. I told him I will go to the reception first and brought my luggage with me. The receptionist checked my booked and said the room isn’t ready and asked me to wait. As I was very tired I asked how long I need to wait and he said until 2pm. I asked if I could perhaps double check at 1 pm and he said ok. I checked again at 1pm and the room wasn’t ready. Finally I got the room at about 1:40. The room size was good and the maintenance of the room was ok although a bit worn out but the decoration looks very outdated and makes the room look more old. Moreover, they had some old brochures in the room which doesn’t really apply to today’s needs such as an old Shanghai yellow pages catalogue etc. Furthermore, there was two bottles of water in the room with tags and on the tag it was clearly stated that only two bottles of water is provided per day per room and additional water bottles will be charged at 10RMB per bottle. I think this makes the hotel seem stingy, supposedly stating that it’s a five star hotel. Haven’t encountered this at hotels with lower star ratings that I stayed at. Another issue was that the HBO channel on the TV didn’t work and that was the only foreign channel on the tv for movies so perhaps international travelers wouldn’t have much to watch. My stay was so so.. the most positive aspect being the central location.
