地理位置极佳，?靠近武康路和宋庆龄故居。前台的服务生很贴心。早餐需要提前预订，订餐制，不过可以要求增加一个鸡蛋和一份咖啡。牛奶和果汁也可以续杯的。酒店的建筑是乌达克设计的。花园草坪很美，后面的红色砖房是安徽省住沪办事处招待所，?也是老洋房，正在进行维护。??

Hard to review
Positive points first. The suite was beautiful. Nice decor, spotlessly clean, great terrace overlooking the garden.
Negative points. Guest service processes and breakfast let this hotel down badly.
Check in was rushed and impersonal. No welcome greeting.
A sheet to choose Set A or Set B for breakfast was pushed on us to fill in at the reception desk while checking in even though it was clear we were wt and tired. We took two sheets to the room to fill in.
The choices were bizarre. Should have taken a photo. There was no tea or coffee options.
You also had to pick a slot for dining, not exactly what you would expect in a classy hotel.
We made our choices.
In the morning what arrived was not what we had ordered. We ended up eating separately as my breakfast had to be changed two times.
Not very romantic or even social.
A paper cup of coffee was presented. Hubby got no hot drink. Dry bread, was presented and when butter was requested was told the hotel did not have butter. Really at 1400rmb a night?
For a weekend away in an expensive hotel breakfast is an important part of the experience.

We had breakfast every morning, which was really good and complete. The workwra were really nice to us. Overall, really good hotel, would stay again!

Located in a heritage central suburb Changning - you can feel the vibes of "old Shanghai". The building itself is a heritage building with character and charm.
The staff, especially Mr. Zhao, we're very helpful - including helping us with couriers.
There is a great cafe inside the hotel buildings. There's many local eateries and restaurants in the vicinity. Not far from many tourist destinations.

The service people are not professional and kind at all! The breakfast arrangement is very strange, kind of annoying.

早餐一个房间一份，住宿两人需要再付费购买早餐。味道可口。很有上海弄堂的小调调。喜欢上海风情的朋友可以体验一下。因为是老房子，没有电梯，行李搬运需要靠人力
