酒店设施很全面 特别适合家庭亲子 度假，小朋友可以体验 唐卡 骑马 射箭 课程活动，整个酒店体量还算很大，地理位置优金色绝佳相对于香格里拉 ，这里面的管家及工作人员都很不错 我们这次的管家扎西泽仁 很不错的男生 热情积极，他们的车队也很不错 接送都很高效安全快速。酒店里面的本地餐饮很多 也有西式的 包括云南菜 ，不需要出门就在酒店吃饭就可以了 比下面的市区好很多，我们都是在酒店吃的。酒店里有好几处绝佳景点可以拍照 ，整个酒店的室内陈设装修很有特色，喜欢感受不同的酒店特色 值得来一趟香格里拉颂赞林卡

Amazing location , very well build and tastefully done , restaurants Chinese and western we had food was also very good with good wine selection ( although wines prices were higher then normal for local wines) amazing service and helpful staff and hotel pickup and drop was also handy ,

What was good
1. We received excellent butler service from 边宗, who went above and beyond her responsibilities. She supported various departments such as housekeeping, laundry, and room coordination with great efficiency and responsiveness.
2. Overall service standards were good, and staff were generally courteous & helpful. However, there was some resistance during breakfast when we requested to take away a small portion of food, which could have been handled with more flexibility.
Areas for Improvement
1. Unfortunately, our original room was located directly beside an active construction site, with tractors passing frequently throughout the day. This significantly affected our experience and reflects a lapse in room assignment planning.
2. The room quality and housekeeping standards did not meet expectations, especially considering the premium pricing. The bed was overly soft and sunken, the shower gel was nearly empty at checkout, and personal items were moved by housekeeping but not returned to their original positions.
3. The laundry service lacked proper handling of delicate materials—particularly wool items—and hygiene standards need improvement. For instance, clean socks were returned in a visibly reused plastic bag, which is concerning for a property of this caliber.
4. There was a lack of detailed information provided for day activities. We joined a cycling trip but did not receive sufficient pre-trip guidance regarding terrain, attire, or necessary items to bring. Improved coordination and communication between the hotel and vendors would greatly enhance guest preparedness and safety.
5. We were disappointed to learn that guests staying at Songtsam Linka were not allowed to participate in Songtsam Green Lodge activities, contrary to what we were informed prior to our arrival. This inconsistency in information was frustrating and impacted our overall experience.

Beautiful hotel with nice design and spacious rooms. The staff were attentive and nice. Oxygen cans can be supplied to you if you feel altitude sickness or you can ask the front desk for a herbal drink that will help ease your symptoms. The breakfast spread was quite good. Free tickets to the Songzanlin Monastery next door and there are some cute boutique shops on hotel premise. A nice zen feeling overall, I would recommend this hotel for couples!

The service is impeccable. The food in the hotel is absolutely top notch, from breakfast, to bakery, to dinner, some of the best food I had during my trip in Lijiang, and Shangri-la
It offers a private access to the monastery, and the hotel feels to embody the ******* spirit and tradition everywhere you look

One of the best accommodation I’ve ever stayed in with A class service and professionalism. Beautiful compound and property, and also staying true to ******* culture. Will definitely want to stay in other Songtsam properties in future cos of this amazing experience!

The best stay during my vacay in Shangri-la. Need to stay at least 2 nights in order to experience the activities in the hotel. The hotel is located near the Songtsam temple and the entrance ticket is provided.

Everything is tiptop!!!
From the moments we reached Shangri-la by train, driver was waiting for us…fetch us to the hotel with the Defendar. The car was very very clean.
All the facilities in the hotel was excellent!
The architecture of the hotel is tibetian style.
Many of the handcraft look nice.
The view from the hotel can see the songtsam temple.
High tea was provided, the egg tart taste delicious even it is winter.
The breakfast had varities of food.
The hotel included ticket to songtsam temple, even provided a free guide to explain while visiting the monastery.
The shampoo and body lotion in the room was nice to used, especially in winter season. The skin feel very dry. (Hope that hotel would sell it online)
The hotel area was very big, there are a lots of nice view to take photo.
Even the hotel is big, they provide buggy car so you not need to walk a lot.
All the staff was well trained, they served us like family. Very heart warming??
We would like to stay in Songtsam hotel again.

Great hotel slightly out of the main town area near Songstram Monastery. Hotel has all the amenities and is themed traditional ******* style. Staff were friendly and some could speak limited English. Food at the restaurants was excellent - we had both hot pot and Chinese. Overall a very nice hotel with a traditional ******* feel. Would recommend staying at this hotel if in Shangri-La.
