We stayed for one night during Chinese golden week. We didn’t travel far (we live in Wuxi) and wanted somewhere in a good location. The hotel is in a wonderful location with an ancient street on its doorstep where you will find multiple restaurants, bars, coffee shops and market stalls.
It’s amazing at night walking through the ancient streets which are literally a stone’s throw from the hotel.
It was clean, well-equipped, and stylish.
I would recommend.

The hotel is majestic, ancient style to suit the Xietang ancient town. It’s a perfect getaway located right at the river. Away from the city noise and crowds. Activities like canoeing also available right outside the hotel entrance.
The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast if you are into western food. Overall good stay, Xiaoying was excellent in her service and helped share locations around Suzhou that I was seeking for.

The place was great and the location just right. The gym was under renovation so we hope next time we will enjoy it together with the pool.

Hotel is of ancient architecture and is beautiful. There was 1 night of free noodle for supper. Breakfast was also included although nothing to shout about. Free fish feed was also given for my kids to feed the fishes.

Great location, friendly staff and excellent service. I loved the old Chinese style of the decor, especially the garden at night! The only downside to the rooms would be the lack of mirrors. The only one that’s available inside the room is in front of the sink with really bad lighting, so it was difficult to do makeups. Other than that, loved everything about this hotel and the experience.
