As I am here for concerts so the hotel is the closest to the Taipei Arena which is really convenient. The room is very spacious and there are several lifts available so less time spent on waiting for the lifts. Service from the concierge to the check in counters were excellent. Even the staff at the sunny cafe were very friendly too. Highly recommend anyone who is going for concerts in Taipei Arena to stay here.

酒店地方好找，距离捷运站只是3分钟路程，很方便，而且附近很多地道小店，有趣。酒店内部很大很豪华，像五星级酒店，每次乘搭玻璃升降机都可以欣赏内部环境，而且房间乾净舒适，电视里有youtube。服务员友善有礼，宾至如归。下次再去台湾也会选这家酒店。

Choosing hotels for my Taiwan trip took nearly a week because I can be quite picky about accommodations. ILLUME turned out to be the perfect choice, meeting all my priorities.
From the moment I dropped off my luggage in the elegant lobby, I felt welcomed. The staff was friendly and even accommodated my request for an early check-in, allowing me to settle in two hours ahead of the standard 4 PM check-in time.
I was assigned a room next to the sauna and steam room, which I appreciated for its convenience. However, there were some noises in the evening from nearby banquet events and guests doing laundry, but as someone who tends to stay up late, it didn't bother me at all.
The gym is shared and well-equipped, typically not crowded except during peak hours when fitness classes draw in more guests. My room was clean and received daily housekeeping, although there were a couple of times when the cups weren't cleaned. I understand they might have thought I was still using them, so no complaints there.
It’s also worth noting that there’s a 7-11 convenience store just downstairs, connected directly to the hotel lobby, where they sell Taiwan's famous branded cakes like 太阳饼 and 凤梨苏. Plus, there are numerous buses nearby, making transportation super convenient—I didn’t even need to rely on the subway!
I really enjoyed the air conditioning—it was cool enough for a comfortable night’s sleep. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and will definitely return without hesitation!

All are well ... Just if the receptionist can be as welcomed as the rest of the crew members will be great.

This hotel is a good location if you are coming to watch concert given that Taipei arena is right opposite within 1 traffic light away.
I’m surprised and happy that they allowed us to check in early and we did it via self service check in kiosk.
Hotel location is easy accessible within nearby metro and is also 2 station away from Songshan if you need to take a TRA to 九份. Surrounding with breeze mall and ikea right beside it and the best of all 7-11 mart is right in level 1 within the hotel without having you to walk all the way out if you need last minute supper or drinks.
As this is an eco friendly hotel, hence no mineral water is given but flasks are provided to fill water via their water dispenser near the lift lobby and not to forget their coffee are provided in capsule with coffee machine instead of packet.
Overall, I’m very pleased with the service, cleanliness, big room and hotel location. ??

Like the triple room alot. Our best hotel for the trip.hotel photos are true. Spacious and clean with a 7-11 right in the hotel lobby, so convenient. Diagonally opp taipei arena. Friendly staff and they have a luggage weighing scale in their luggage holding area. Note there are no local breakfast spots nearby, only a cafe.

The hotel was very big and there were many ballrooms holding different events. Bed was huge and room was spacious and modern. It is situated right opposite Taipei arena and there are plenty of food options nearby.

Very good location and nice hotel ambience. Walking distance to many good eateries and local delights. Level 1 Sunny Buffet serves good food too.
Room is clean and comfortable as well. Overall a good stay for 9 nights.
Ps: bathroom is abit small for a 4 star hotel though.

Booked this hotel for the new year countdown. It's considered walkable from, say, Sun Yet Sen Memorial Hall/Taipei Dome, and you wouldn't have to jostle with the crowd for the metro. I reckon it'll be a popular hotel with concertgoers too as it's very near the Taipei Arena. Well connected to the airport as you can take the Songshan Xindian line to Beimen and switch to the airport link (do not go to Taipei Main station). Room was comfy, price point was affordable.
