There is a complimentary shuttle bus running between the hotel and Yuanshan Station. The hotel has convenience stores and restaurants, making it very convenient. The front desk service is excellent, and the room, though not spacious, is clean. The only issue is that it’s an interior room with no window, and the price was significantly higher than usual, likely due to the New Year's holiday period.

They have kindly upgraded us to rooms next to elevator with balcony for better ventilation. Even at lower level the view of Taipei is unbeatable. We like the wooden floor much better.
Because of renovation at the separate bldg, they’ve used strong aroma to cover the smell. That side has carpet floor which will suit some of the travellers.
A few boutiques at main bldg, selling special fashion & accessories.
Hope we could stay for longer next time to read the exhibition at V floor. Those are precious history of how the hotel has developed since 1940s.
Buses to Jiantan only operates on weekends- we as Japanese cannot read the sign & waited in the wind for 10+ min. Luckily a lady asked the concierge & figured out what’s going on. We took taxi instead.

位置在圆山，旁边就是忠烈祠和士林官邸，还是比较适合旅游入住的，环境很好，大厅很大很气派，特别有中华文化的感觉，酒店里也有便利店 商店。个人还是蛮喜欢这家的，下次还会有机会再入住这家

体验不错。前台接待我们的服务员很耐心有礼，特地给我们讲解标注了下山去士林夜市的小道，客房服务很温馨，我们提出送水都能很快送到房间，还有暖心的问候。唯一遗憾的是我们的房间正对后山，楼下有施工，施工期间开阳台门噪音比较大，但关上门就几乎听不见了，隔音很好。

Bus service during the holiday or weekend is not that good! Due to local tourist take over most spot, end up we took taxi ?to local subway station. ?No basic room supplier( toothbrush etc.); ?others are very good ! We will do it again when back to Taiwan!!!!!!!

Beautiful hotel.
We were in a suite and it was fantastic to have plenty of space with the kids.
No amenities at all in the toilet. Only shampoo and shower gel.

A beautiful hotel no doubt, but I think the service is just average, nothing to boast about. Please take note that check in is strictly 3pm so don't bother turning up at the reception before that as there's no such thing as a pre check-in like what many other countries do. Unless perhaps if you're a VIP. They didn't tend to wear smiles on their faces as well, just a normal service tone of voice at best as they looked pretty jaded / felt like they're on a high horse like those staff working at lavish boutique stores. I liked the room - spacious enough, good air-con and water pressure, bidet toilet. However, the swimming pool is not connected to the main building and it's a joke. You either have to walk a fair bit in the open to an annex, or perhaps they'll drive you on a buggy (which we weren't informed of).

Big and luxury hotel. I stayed in another building behind—a quick walk away but require some familiarity. Mby ooking said no window but it actually has big window, it is just facing the mountain and lacks of view.

I was in Taipei for one night so I chose to stay at this iconic hotel and was very satisfied. The building was historic and situated on a hill for a nice view of the city although the weather was poor. The breakfast was excellent as I expected. Free shuttle service to the metro station was helpful.

The hotel is nice! Great way to explore and know Taiwan history and culture. The archi is so fab.. very old but the inside is so modern. Staff knows English and they are very accommodating.
