staying at this hotel after vacating our rental in Taipei before flying back to States with two young kids. Warm greeting and efficient staffs. Very nice room and big bathroom. The only thing is the bath linen quality is really bad cannot even rank as two starts, but everything else is a 4 starts. Sky Lounge does not offer breakfast only night bar, so kids cannot enjoy it. It will be nice to have a bk at the sky lounge with family. Will stay here when come back to Taipei next time.

Attentive staff, good food, ok gym (need more/modern equipment), well maintained. Many other options in Taipei but for East Nanjing Road, Capitol is very convenient! Fairly quiet as sound insulation,even on expressway side keeps outside noise levels down.

装修很有个性，走的是浮华风。大堂很小，有三台苹果台式机提供免费使用，其中一台还是日语的。房间很干净，洗手间非常非常大，是全自动的马桶。隔音很好，床很软，早餐虽不算丰盛，但也不错，茶饮可配肉桂粉是亮点。

Stayed here November end.Size of the rooms and bathrooms were very large by Asian standards and the fixtures in the bath topnotch.However the toiletries and linen quality did not match. WiFi is free and so is the mini bar- which unfortunately only had one can of coke and one can of a sports drink!The bed is amazing- its a layered mattress which assures one of a very restful sleepbr/Concierge service,bell captains and front desk especially Ariel are all very knowledgeable and helpful.br/Room service had nothing much available after 10pm and the rooftop bar stays open till 1am with a min cover charge(NTD300 pp) even if you are a guest at the hotel.Nothing available to eat or drink after that here!br/Location is a bit misleading.The MRTS is a good 15min walk away but that has excellent connectivitybr/Good place to stay - if on business.Due to the average quality of the toiletries linen and room service I dont think its value for money

We stayed at the Capital for four nights from the 21st to 25th Novemeber, 2012. Rooms were of a pretty decent size with good quality fixtures. The bathroom was of pretty decent in size with quality fixtures and a completely automated Toto closet. The location of the hotel is on a highway. Taxis are available in plenty, however since there are a number of one way roads, getting to a place in time is a bit of a problem and one has to plan well. The buffet breakfast was pretty good, however being a vegetarian the choice was limited. The lobby is pretty small in size and with a few people in it looks crowded. Ariel at the front desk was extremely helpful, and so were all the staff as well as the bell boys. The one problem was that the hotel has no coffee shop and all dining outlets close by 10.30, with just the roof top bar open till after 1 am. We asked for bread and soup in the room at around 11 pm, and we were told that we need to go to the bar for any food that we might need. Overall a decent hotel.

I stayed here for 5 nights last October, and it was great. The room itself has a sort of Victorian design, with a very nice and cozy bed & pillow. I was smoking, and they provide a nice balcony in the room.br/Bathroom was nice, completed with shower box and big bath tub, also with electronic toilet which is very convenient. br/Best part? Free Wi-fi inside the room and the connection was pretty goodbr/Located about 10 minutes walk from metro stationbr/However, they need to add more variant in their breakfast menu, which was kind of limited, most of the menu are japanese and chinese, need more international type of menu.br/Staffs are very nice and helpful

A very pleasant surprise, nice place with very good facilities. The location of the hotel is OK, it’s close to the highway and taxis are plentiful. There is an HSBC bank across the road where you can use an International bank card to get funds. Buffet breakfast more Chinese style than western with lots of choices.br/br/Good staff, helpful and they speak enough English to get by….if you don’t speak Mandarin!br/br/I paid 4000 NT$ per night which is more than fair for this quality of hotel.br/br/Highly reccomended.

位置一般，装修一般，但相对于价钱来说，已经非常好。很干净，服务一如台北所有酒店一样很热情很温馨。房间很大，酒店的点餐和二楼的餐厅都特别好吃。一次非常值得怀念的体验。
