We booked due to the location near the ethiad stadium. Rooms were a bit dated and only one plug socket. We had dinner and breakfast which were both excellent in both taste and value for money. Dinner portion sizes were very generous and we were shocked to see the size of my son kids menu pizza! Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

The hotel is perfect for a one night stay for a concert the lady on reception called Claire was amazing, really friendly and accommodating! Would definitely come back again, clean / tidy and a lovely atmosphere just everything that you need!

What a great stay. Stayed for 2 nights for business. Kay on reception was fantastic at check in and also working the bar to serve drinks and take food orders. Hotel was nice and clean and breakfast was good. Evening food was good as well. Great stay all round. KAY is an asset to the team

Credit to all the staff we spoke to on our stay, they are the most friendly, welcoming and accommodating of all the travelodge staff we have come across (we often stay in travelodges) Parking was plentiful even though the website said it isn't there was plenty of parking. The rooms weren't as modern as some we have stayed in but they were clean and just as comfy. Food and bar was well stocked and the food was lovely, we ate evening meal and breakfast. It wasn't 5 star so don't expect that but It was tasty and plentiful. We had 3 rooms booked and the evening staff on check in and the bar staff were lovely and friendly and again the morning staff at breakfast and reception were also very friendly. I'd definitely stay here again!

I originally booked this as a place to stay after seeing a concert in the Co op live arena. I was slightly worried that after an enforced venue change that the hotel might be a little inconvenient for us now, but happily, I was wrong. The transport links were amazing, as there's a bus service, from practically right outside, that runs every few minutes, and until pretty late. Taking you straight into the city centre in 15 mins. Also, due to the current rail strikes, we had to combine this trip with my daughter going away for 5 weeks with her job. Leaving her with no other option but to travel on to Middlesbrough, without the option of returning home first. Therefore we arrived with a lot of baggage in tow. Claire, on reception was amazing, she was so friendly and accommodating and really helped us out. Nothing was too much trouble. Although the hotel might be a little dated, the room was really clean and comfortable, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Stay at the hotel was really good with attentive staff and service. Room was clean and comfortable and in a great location for work. Price was very reasonable considering relatively short notice. Danial was fantastic, helpful, quick to respond and efficient.

Kay has been absolutely fantastic from day one..I ended up working away from friends & family for several months..in fact for too long .. because she is now part of my family & friends group..............................................

The staff are very accomodating and very helpful. Very nice and quiet place. Hotel location is near bus stops and very accessible to transportation. Also there are near grocery store or supermarket. The hotel has its own bar and cafe so no need to find restaurant.. but of course if you crave for some other foods you can just go to the center which is just few minutes ride from bus. All in all I love my stay in this hotel.

Spent the weekend at Sportcity Travelodge. Was a great stay, the staff were fab, had a chat with Daniel the manager, he was bubbly and very helpful. The hotel was clean, it was welcoming, the breakfast was tasty. Good location cheaper than city centre competition and it’s only 10 mins on bus to the city so worth the money saved.

Super experience here. Was expecting a typically overpriced underwhelming stay and how wrong I was. Easy to find and park. 62 quid for a double room with all you can eat brekky. Room spotless as was whole hotel. Drinks at the bar less than a fiver a pint (a miracle nowadays) and the new assistant bar manager was a star, friendly and attentive. Food 14 quid for main and a side. We had chicken skewers, three wonderfully cooked loaded skewers with a restaurant quality salad of quinoa rice tomato and herbs. Sides of fries and corn cobs perfect. Chef Jamali’s presentation 5 star. Flawless. Stay here with total confidence!
